AdvancedTCA® and AdvancedMC® module airflow measurements

Wickenby Ltd. cannot solve these integration problems. What we can do is to provide a low cost service which provides board suppliers and integrators with accurate measured airflow impedance curves.

We have built and commissioned a test chamber designed to ANSI-AMCA 210-99 (AMCA 210-85) specifically for boards and modules. This enables us to plot board back pressure from 0 to 200 Pa (0.8" wg) against flow rates of 0 to 0.05 M3/s (100 CFM). Results are given in tables as shown in PICMG 3.0 figure 5.3 and AMC.0 5-1 in both English and metric units and as fitted equations.

We have test fixtures for AdvancedTCA®and AdvancedMC® modules of half height, full height; standard width and double width. Fixtures will soon be available for CompactPCI, VME64 and VXI. Additional test fixtures can be manufactured for boards up to 320 deep, 10U height and 10HP width.
